Micah Ticatch is a Partner at IslerDare PC.

Prior to joining IslerDare in 2010, Micah practiced civil litigation for three years in Newport Beach, California with the national firm Irell & Manella LLP, where he specialized in wage and hour class action defense.

Micah’s practice is primarily focused on the defense of businesses in the litigation of employment and commercial disputes.  Micah routinely litigates cases arising under the federal employment statutes, including Title VII, the FMLA, the ADA, the EPA, the ADEA, and the FLSA, as well as cases arising under state law including actions for breach of contract, defamation, duty of loyalty, trade secrets, and enforcement of noncompetition agreements.  In addition to employment cases, Micah also litigates cases on behalf of financial institutions including those arising under the UCC, the FCRA, the EFTA, and the FCBA.  Micah represents clients in federal and state courts, as well as before administrative agencies such as the EEOC, the Department of Labor, the Virginia Employment Commission, and local human rights commissions.  In addition to his litigation practice, Micah provides advice and legal counsel to employers, including the review and drafting of employment policies, noncompetition agreements, separation agreements, and executive employment agreements.

Micah graduated from the University of Virginia in 2007 and is admitted to practice in Virginia, California, and the District of Columbia.
