Christine M. Burke is a Partner at IslerDare, PC. Prior to joining the firm in July 2025, Christine practiced for ten years with Lorenger & Carnell PLC, a boutique firm focused on representing management in all aspects of labor and employment law.  Before her time at Lorenger & Carnell, Christine also spent ten years in the Labor and Employment Group of Hogan Lovells (and its predecessor, Hogan & Hartson).

Christine has extensive experience representing employers in litigation before federal and state courts and administrative agencies, and in arbitration. She also provides counseling to employers on topics ranging from day-to-day workforce management to complex legal requirements and has significant experience in traditional labor law, advising employers facing unionization and representing clients in collective bargaining negotiations.

Christine earned her law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she was on the Editorial Board of the Virginia Law Review. Before law school, Christine attended Yale University, where she received a B.A. in history, graduating cum laude and with distinction in the major. 

Before entering private practice, Christine served as a Law Clerk to the Honorable J. Frederick Motz of the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland.  Christine, her husband Chris, and their two children reside in Arlington, Virginia.
