Christina Charikofsky is a Labor and Employment Associate with IslerDare, P.C., based in the firm’s Columbia, Maryland office. She represents employers in a broad range of labor and employment matters arising under federal, state, and local law, including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pregnant Workers Fairness Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Christina advises and advocates for employers in disputes involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other workplace claims in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies, including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. She also regularly drafts and reviews employee handbooks, workplace policies, and employment-related agreements, including non-compete, non-solicitation, confidentiality, severance, and settlement agreements.
In traditional labor matters, Christina represents public and private sector employers in collective bargaining negotiations, labor relations issues, representation campaigns, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board.
Christina earned her J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she served as a Production Editor for the University of Baltimore Law Review, was a member of the Honor Board, and served as a Law Scholar in Torts. She was inducted into the Royal Graham Shannon House III Honor Society as a Distinguished Scholar and is a member of the Heuisler Honor Society.
Prior to joining IslerDare, Christina gained hands-on experience in labor and employment law through multiple internships and externships, including with Kollman & Saucier, P.A.
